Honey Lemon Ginger Flu Remedy
Ciara from My Fussy Eater has an easy DIY cold and flu remedy. Simply layer 1 cup of honey, 2 sliced lemons, and 1 inch of fresh ginger into a jar. She then refrigerates the jar for 12 hours to let the ingredients infuse. Click here for the full recipe on My Fussy Eater.
Brianne at Cupcakes and Kale Chips has a delicious vegetable soup to help fight the flu. She uses garlic, onion, ginger, and turmeric to help boost your immune system. Click here for the full recipe.
Flu Season Cider
This recipe from Simply Green & Healthy is a great way to help yourself recover from the flu. By using honey, cinnamon, and apple cider vinegar are all immune boosters. Simply mix a pinch of honey with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar into a cup of boiling water. Click here for the full recipe.
